The Mind of God Is Revealed in the Place of Prayer
"And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount." KJV+, Exodus 25:40
God reveals His plans to those who seek Him in prayer. The mind of God is made known to a spirit that is devoted to communion with Him. Just as God showed Moses the pattern of the tabernacle on the mountain, God still reveals the pattern for our lives and the works He has called us to do in the place of prayer.
Through consistent fellowship with God, our spirit becomes knit to Him and begins to discern His will. In the place of prayer, Jesus Christ becomes more clearly revealed to our hearts, and we begin to understand the depth of God's love for us. It is also there that the Scriptures open to us with fresh revelation and we begin to see how God's Word applies to our lives, needs, and situations.
From the place of prayer, we receive direction for our lives, wisdom for our decisions, and solutions to our problems. God guides our steps and gives us specific instructions concerning our families, our work, and our calling. His light fills our spirit so that we do not walk in ignorance.
Anything that is truly born by the Spirit of God in the place of prayer carries divine life and power. The enemy cannot overcome a vision, ministry, family, or work that is birthed through communion with God. Every genuine work of God on the earth is conceived, sustained, and advanced by the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer.
Many things in the world are born of human wisdom and the flesh, and that is why they often fail to produce lasting results. But whatever is conceived in prayer carries the grace of God to overcome challenges and fulfil its purpose.
Prayer is the womb through which the purposes of God are born. Before we pursue any plan or idea, we should bring it before God in prayer so that it can be birthed and empowered by Him.
Whatever is born by God in the place of prayer will ultimately glorify Him. Whether it is a ministry, a business, a family, or even a book, anything that proceeds from communion with God will inspire and bless His people and bring glory to His name.
