Following the Light of Life

Following the Light of Life

"Then spake Jesus Christ again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12 KJV

Jesus Christ alone is the true light and guide of His followers in a world filled with darkness. As believers, we are not meant to be led by our physical senses, circumstances, or the opinions of people, but by the Spirit of God.

Darkness represents confusion, evil, loss, and destruction. Therefore, those who truly follow Christ should not live as victims of these things. As we walk with Him, the Lord reveals the plans of the enemy and exposes traps set against us. Our responsibility is to heed His warnings and instructions so that we do not fall into the devil’s schemes.

A person may be born again and loved by God, yet still be led astray if they do not allow Christ to guide their decisions. The flesh is always impatient and pushes us to act quickly, but we must not allow it to lead us into what God has not permitted. Those who truly follow Christ understand that they belong to Him and therefore desire His direction in all they do.

Many people fall into deception because of desperation for quick money, fame, or profit. The enemies of our souls often target believers who seek instant success without diligence, patience, and honest work. Do not act out of desperation. What God has ordained for you will not pass you by.

If God does not permit something, do not venture into it—even if others are doing it. The leading of God comes by His Spirit, and whatever He does not lead you to do, His presence will not accompany to bless. The presence of God is the true catalyst for blessing, success, and profit.

Not every voice is the voice of God. The enemy also seeks to mislead people, even during prayer. Therefore, never be in a hurry to respond to every impression or voice. Test everything with the Scriptures, for God will never speak contrary to His Word.

The world is full of deceptive schemes promising quick and effortless profit. Be careful not to fall into such traps. Whatever God has not given you, do not force your way to obtain it.

If the Lord is truly your Shepherd, you will rest in His leading. The leadership of Jesus Christ brings true life, peace, joy, profit, and fulfilment—not sorrow.
