Get unstuck and move forward

Deuteronomy 1:6 NLT. “When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough.

God spoke to the Israelites at Horeb, echoing the same message to us, that we have dwelt long enough in our current situation or experience. No one should stay in one encounter with God or at the level of success for too long. Every level that God brings us to is just a transit phase and not a permanent position. God wants us to progress and move from one level of growth to a higher one in our walk with Him.

We have the ability in God to move forward in our walking with Him and we must not be satisfied with where we are. We should continue to pursue God and seek to understand Him better and better. The more we understand God, the easier it will be for us to please Him, to accomplish the purpose of God for our lives and to walk in the fullness of the Spirit of God. We will also be able to identify things that are of God and those that are not.

It's important to plan to do more than we have achieved in life, in our business or ministry. No level of growth or experience of the power of God is a permanent position. We should have a forward mentality and continue aspiring to do greater work and to make more impacts in the lives of people so that we won't plateau in the same spot. Success shouldn't make us lose focus on the great vision that God set before us. We must be occupied serving the Lord, irrespective of our accomplishments and the comfort that God brings to us.
