KJV+, Gal 2:20: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

We are crucified with Christ, yet we live; it is no longer our old selves that live, but Christ living in us and through us in all that we do or say. The life that we live now in our body should reflect the life, characters, and faith of Jesus Christ. Living for Christ is to live for Him who loves us and sacrifices His life for us. The only way we can reciprocate the great love that Christ has for us by taking our place in death is to stop living for ourselves. Everyone who has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour must delete himself from himself before Christ can be seen in his body. He must delete the personality called 'me' or 'myself' from himself for Christ to be alive and manifest His power through him.

We must allow Christ to be Himself in our body before His glory can be made manifest through us. Self, me, or myself, is the door to the devil's manipulation and control over a man's life. If you are living for yourself, Christ cannot exercise His authority over your life and all that you have. And if Christ does not do it, then the devil will exercise his authority over you because there cannot be a vacuum of authority over anyone. The devil will not surrender to our authority unless we are living in submission to the authority of Jesus Christ. Unless we stop living for ourselves Christ will not defend us nor fight on our behalf against our enemies.

Christ alone must be living in our body and no other strangers living with Him. We must cast any stranger that is alive or has control over our lives by the authority we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ cannot be living in your mortal body and sin or the devil is also living. This is confusing; we must send the stranger out of our lives by the fire of the Holy Ghost. Since Christ lives in us, we ought to live by faith in Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. Living by faith in the Son of God is living strictly by His principles, His instructions, and His ideas. We must pray daily for grace, determination, and discipline to live by the faith of the Son of God always because there are other faiths, principles, or ideas that are contending against the faith of Christ that is given to us.
