Jam 5:16: "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
The effectiveness and fervency of prayer depend on the right standing of the person praying to God, his faith in God and the words of God with which he offers his prayer. The revelations of God's words in our hearts fuel our passion for prayer and help us persevere until we feel release in our spirit. Never approach God in prayer with a heart filled with doubt, as God will not heed or respond to such prayers. Prayer is not a casual exercise to make us appear religious but a divine purpose that is orchestrated by God to bring transformation to our lives, so we must give ourselves to it all the days of our lives. Prayer is a divine project through which God works in our lives and in the world to manifest His glory. It is God's strategic way through which the works of the devil are destroyed, and the kingdom of God is established.
The success and testimony of prayer depend on the focus, determination, persistence, and discipline of the person who prays. No matter how far the devil has gone in his evil agenda, we can prevail through prayer, and God will change the tides to our advantage. There is no impossibility through prayer because all things are possible with God who answers prayer. No matter what you possess, you are not a threat to the devil, but when you begin to immerse yourself in prayer, you become a terror to him and his works, and you will see him fighting back. God does not involve anyone in His mission on earth unless they give themselves always to prayer. Praying to God is an expression of our dependence on the Almighty, and no one diligently involves themselves in this spiritual exercise without the glory of God being present in their life.
