John 8:32: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

It is the truth that we know, believe, and rightly apply that can set us free from any bondage or limitations. The truth known from God does not make anyone free by itself unless it is applied to the areas of need in our lives. The devil knows who knows the truth and stands firmly by faith in them and does not mess around with them, lest he will be consumed.

The truth we know from the scriptures is not just for our information gathering but to be put to work in our lives and situations. We must engage ourselves with the truth from the scriptures in whatever we do before God can be able to work in our favour. God doesn't create and save anyone to be idle while He does everything for us. Instead, He makes known to us what we ought to do and blesses our obedience to His instructions.

God has given us the truth in the scriptures for our freedom, and we need to discover them and apply them to our lives. The truth about what we are and what Christ has done for us is the instrument given to us to destroy any works or counsels of the devil against us. It is what God has given or done for us through Jesus Christ that upturned the works of darkness and set us free.

True freedom or Liberty does not come by just fighting and fighting our enemies but by fighting upon the truth of the finished works of Christ. The work of our salvation, healing, and deliverance has been fully accomplished for us through the death of Jesus Christ. As a result, we don't have to bear the burden of sin, sickness, or be under the control of the devil anymore.

We have been set free through the substitutionary death of Jesus for us on the cross. It is now our responsibility to free ourselves by applying this truth to our lives. Living by the truth of what Christ has done for us begins from our subconscious mind. Many lies have been programmed into our subconscious mind, and it is the knowledge of the truth from the scriptures that can deprogram them. The truth of the word of God that we don't believe in our hearts will not be registered in our subconscious mind to get rid of the lies that are programmed there. We must renew our minds daily with what God says we are and have in Christ and apply this truth to our lives through our confessional prayers and faith.

The word of faith is confessional. It is the word that we confess and believe. Don't confess what you will not believe or act upon. Don't confess what you will not live or stand by because it will not work for you. Standing firm in faith in the word of God, which we confessed, is what gives us miracles. It is not enough to pray to God but to also believe that we have received what we asked for from Him, and then we will have them.
