Trust God no matter what
Jer 5:19: "And it shall come to pass when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours."
Everything that happens to us, whether good or bad, is allowed by God for a purpose. It can be to lead us to repentance, to make us thankful, to show us what we've been neglecting, or to deepen our relationship with Him. We should not jump to conclusions about what God is trying to tell us without first seeking understanding.
When God allowed His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, it wasn't to demote Him but to give Him the greatest honour. So we should strive to understand God's purpose for our lives and not let our human nature cloud our judgment.
God always has our best interests in mind, and we should walk by faith and not be swayed by our human feelings. Regularly spending time with the word of God will help us understand His work in our lives. We should rely on the Holy Spirit always to discern the will of God for us in every situation rather than relying solely on our human senses.
