Take Responsibility

Jer 5:21: "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:"

In the passage above, God described the people as foolish and lacking understanding. They are irresponsible because they can see and hear, yet they do not use these senses. As a result, they remain ignorant and fail to live according to God's commandments. The people have the potential to understand spiritual matters and experience supernatural realities, but they are unwilling to make use of the divine abilities bestowed upon them. Overcoming laziness and procrastination is essential if we want to enter into the rest that God has provided for us through Christ. Neglecting to pursue knowledge or take action to solve our problems demonstrates irresponsibility, which impedes our growth.

One of the reasons God saved us is to open our spiritual eyes, which were once blinded by sin, to perceive spiritual truths and the gifts freely given to us. This is why God often uses the word "behold" in the scriptures when speaking to us. However, we cannot truly perceive what God wants to reveal unless we make a deliberate effort to seek Him and study the scriptures. Without seeking God and delving into His word, we will not discover the truths that lead to freedom in Christ.

God will never force anything on an unwilling person. We must willingly and responsibly act towards God before He reveals His plans for our lives. It is our responsibility to be intentional about this so we can experience all the blessings Christ has secured for us on the cross. Let's not blame God for remaining in misery or slavery to the devil. It is on us to know our rights in God's kingdom and to exert our authority to possess what belongs to us.

We must understand the truth about our salvation and deliverance and practically free ourselves from any limitations. The devil will not give up on any believer unless we fight back by exercising our authority in Christ over him. We must work out our salvation and deliverance from the spiritual into the physical through prayer and bold faith confession. Let's confess our salvation, deliverance, and healing out loud so that we can tangibly experience them.
