Draw not nigh hither

Exo 3:5: "And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."

We must grasp the truth that we are all unfit to stand as priests before the presence of the Holy God to minister to Him and His people, except through the blood of Jesus, which alone has redeemed and qualified us. We must not forget that Jesus Christ is the sole reason we are fit to draw near to God and serve Him. We must acknowledge this truth and remain humble, never becoming proud of the great works God is doing through us.

No one is indispensable to God – He can make anyone irrelevant if He detects arrogance and resistance in His pursuit of His kingdom agenda. God rejects the proud and chooses others whom He deems more suitable. We must remember that we are not the only ones God can use. If we become inflexible, God can call upon others to serve Him.

When someone is called into God's service, He will perfect, purify, and refine them. Our willingness to be prepared by God will determine how effectively He can use us. A person's influence as a leader in ministry is a result of their submission to God's influence in their life. The more a person allows God to work in them, the more God will open doors of ministry for them.

The effectiveness and fruitfulness of a person's ministry before God depend on their daily submission to God, seeking Him through prayer, reading the scriptures to hear what He is saying, and obeying His instructions. A person who is ignorant of God's will or finds it difficult to obey His instructions will not be relevant to the work that God is doing. God will deny them His presence, power, and glory in whatever they are doing for Him.
