‭‭Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14-15.

The passage above explains that Jesus took on our flesh and blood to become like us. Through His death, He destroyed the power of the devil, who had control over death. This means that death is no longer a tool for the devil to terrify or control believers. Instead, it is now an entrance to eternal life and reign with Christ. For those who have faith in Jesus, death is not something to fear, but a passage to rest in the presence of the Lord.

When the righteous die, it is not accidental, but an indication that their purpose on earth has been fulfilled. Death is no longer something the devil can use to instil fear and control us. Jesus has not only delivered us from the power of death but also overcome the world for us. Therefore, we should not let fear control us, as God responds to prayers based on faith, not fear.

It's important not to let fear push us away from God. Instead, we should let faith be our guide in seeking God through prayer. The effectiveness and results of our prayers depend on the faith with which we offer them to God, rather than on our fears, shouting, or sweating while offering them. If we want our prayers to be answered, we must first replace our fears with faith in the words of God from the Scriptures. We should then offer our prayers to God in faith.

When fear arises in our hearts, our response should be to find out what God said about our fears in the Scriptures. We should study and meditate on God's words until faith arises in our hearts, and then offer our prayers to God with that faith.

Faith that rises in our hearts through hearing the words of God or meditating on them should draw us to God to make our requests and genuinely believe that He has answered us. Any faith that doesn't draw us to seek or serve God is not true faith. Faith should lead us to look to God, depend on Him for help, follow Him, and give ourselves to Him in service.
