Genesis 2: 8. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. - Bible Offline
After creating Adam, God placed him in a garden in the east of Eden to cultivate. Until God completes the shaping and preparation for the purposes we are meant to fulfil in His work; He will not send us on any task. The process of our development by God will involve cutting, reshaping, refining, and transforming us until we are ready to serve the purpose we are called for. This process may be uncomfortable, but it is necessary for a fruitful outcome. We need to be patient and allow God to complete the work He has started in our lives.
God will always prepare a place for the person He has equipped. If we resist God's preparation for the work He intends to do through us, He will not send us to be His voice to His people. God first starts His work in the life of the person He has called so that the work done through that person becomes an authentic expression of who they are. God is calling us to join Him in completing the work which He started through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If we do not heed His voice and walk closely with Him, He will not send us. The work that God has assigned to us has the potential to grow, bear fruit, and multiply in our hands. Therefore, our full attention, devotion, and dedication are essential in fulfilling God's calling on our lives.
Eden, where God placed Adam, was a delightful place, so serving God should be a delightful experience for our souls because God has created us to bring pleasure to Him. We should always find joy and fulfillment in serving God, without complaining. The work for which God has called us has been adequately provided for by God, just as Eden, where God placed Adam, was well-watered. Therefore, there is no need to struggle or be stressed to fulfil the assignment which God has given to us. God has generously funded His work by grace, so there is no need for us to scramble to serve Him. We only need to ask God to open our eyes to discover the grace He has given us to do His work.
