Rev 3:8: "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
Even when it seems like all the doors are closed against you and no opportunities are coming your way, remember that God has promised, "Behold, I have set before you an open door." Will you believe in God's promise, or will you believe what others or your circumstances are saying? The situations we face may seem silent, but they have a message for us, either from God or from the devil. We should speak out God's word over our lives and reject any negative confessions about our situations.
The testimonies of God about us are the only true and reliable ones, not the negativity spoken by others or arising from our circumstances. Even when we cannot see the open door that God has promised with our physical eyes, we must have faith that what God has said is true and be assured in our hearts that He will open the door for us soon. We must trust in God's words, even if we have not seen them come true in our lives yet.
Trust is crucial in building any close relationship. If we cannot have faith in God's words, we won't be able to have a covenant relationship with Him. Individuals need to search the scriptures for what God has said about their lives, challenges or troubles and not accept whatever people, situations, or the world throws at them. Through faith in God's word, prayer, and positive confession, anything not of God in our lives will give way.
The power of God's word is greater than the power of the enemy that sustains any negative situations or circumstances. God's word is stronger than any unfavourable facts that are not from God regarding us. By having faith in God's word, we can overcome the works of the devil and live a victorious Christian life. Believing in the word of God will open doors for us, even amid opposition and resistance.
God's word is our light and guide in times of darkness and confusion. Even when we don't have specific directions from God, we can still believe and obey the words of God in the scriptures. If we can't believe God by obeying His written word, we won't be able to follow His specific instructions.
