There He put the man whom He has formed
Gen 2:8: "And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed."
God shapes and moulds us to be vessels through His words and His Spirit, giving our lives purpose, direction, and definition. He designs our lives and purposes based on the examples of those who have come before us, whether in Scripture or our contemporary world and bestows upon us the same anointing to accomplish similar tasks and even greater ones. God is in the process of shaping those who delight in seeking Him, intending for people to find comfort, rest, and peace in Christ through us. But the process of building us to be instruments for God's work relies on continuously making ourselves available to Him.
God will not use a person or assign them responsibility in His work unless He has completed shaping and defining them. An unformed person lacks direction and has no specific assignments but is available for any task that comes their way. On the other hand, a person formed by God's grace remains committed to the work God has given them. They do it faithfully because they find fulfilment in doing so. Job satisfaction has nothing to do with how much we earn or the profit we make; it is about finding joy in the work that God has assigned to us and being a blessing to others.
