Living under the authority of God
Jer 5:12: "They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:"
In the passage above, the nations of Israel and Judah falsely claimed that God would not punish them for their sins. They boasted that nothing bad would happen to them and that they would not suffer from war or hunger. However, they were mistaken because everyone is ultimately under God's authority, whether they acknowledge it or not. God has created each of us for His purposes, expecting us to submit to His authority for our benefit. No one can truly succeed or prosper in life without placing themselves under God's authority, whether directly or indirectly through spiritual leaders appointed by God. God, as the ultimate authority, determines our destinies.
God holds the keys to all our aspirations, and without Him, we cannot achieve anything of lasting significance in the world. God is all-powerful and has authority over every sphere of influence. God is in control of everyone and everything, including all situations. He has authority over all problems, challenges, sicknesses, and diseases, and there is nothing that God cannot resolve. Furthermore, God has empowered us with His abilities so that we can carry out supernatural feats through our faith in Him, without the need for Him to manifest physically.
God has bestowed each of us with a unique gift, skill, talent, grace, or anointing to wield authority in a specific area of influence. However, we must individually seek God to discover the area where He has endowed us with gifts. Through utilizing our gifts or skills to benefit others, we can progress from being good to becoming excellent in our area of influence. Each of us possesses the power, grace, or anointing from God to become an authority by utilizing and dispensing them to bless others. However, our ability to wield authority in our area of influence is contingent on our commitment to daily self-development. Without consistent personal growth, we risk becoming unappealing to others in the area where God has graced us.
