It pays to obey God

Luk 5:6: "And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net broke."

This verse highlights the importance of obeying God's instructions rather than being idle or doing as we please. When Peter and his companions followed Jesus's directive to lower their nets, they caught a large number of fish. This demonstrates that obeying God's commands leads to blessings. It's crucial to regularly expose ourselves to God's words through reading and listening, as it strengthens our faith and enables us to obey God and receive His blessings.

Without hearing and understanding God's word, we cannot develop the faith needed to obey Him. The fulfilment of God's word in our lives is dependent on our active faith and obedience. God works with those who grasp His purpose, receive it through faith, and act upon it through prayer and obedience. Before God's intentions for our lives can come to fruition, we must obey His specific words with precision. This is why it is imperative for us to diligently seek an understanding of God's word and faithfully adhere to His instructions.

God has saved us so that we may fulfil His purpose here on earth. Without our active participation in prayer, unwavering faith and obedience to His instructions, God's divine purposes will not be realized on earth. The establishment and advancement of the kingdom of God in the world is contingent upon the active involvement and unwavering faith of all believers. God requires individuals who can access His power through their faith and prayer, ultimately manifesting His glory on earth

A person is justified before God by works, not solely by praying. Prayer must be accompanied by wholehearted obedience to God's instructions. A fruitful prayer life will motivate us to take action towards realizing what we are believing God for. Faith in God does not make us passive and reliant solely on His intervention; rather, it compels us to take deliberate action, allowing God to bless our efforts.
