God, the Rock of our salvation

Jer 3:23: "Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel."

The passage above emphasizes that our salvation comes from the Lord our God, not from any human or earthly power. We should not rely on influential people or physical locations for our help, but instead, we should seek God, the rock of our salvation for our needs. To obtain God's help, we must find His promises in the scriptures and pray in faith, presenting our requests to Him based on His word. God acts through His word, so it's important to find and meditate on scriptures that relate to our needs.

When we find God's promises in the scriptures, these become the key to our salvation. The words that inspire faith in our hearts during difficult times are powerful and effective. These words, prompted by the Spirit of God, are not just ordinary words but are filled with life, joy, peace, and rest of mind. The word of God also opens our eyes to our purpose, corrects us, guides us, and brings comfort during challenging times. Therefore, we should focus on finding and meditating on God's word to receive His saving and guiding strength.
