Faith On Trial

John 12:27: "Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour."

Jesus faced inner trouble and questioned whether He should ask God to save Him from the impending death. However, He recognized that facing this hour of trouble was necessary due to His divine purpose to redeem humanity and restore our relationship with God. It's important to understand that believers may encounter trials and persecution because of their faith in God. These challenges can stem from a faith in God’s vision being fulfilled in their lifetime. But it is crucial to differentiate between troubles that test our faith in God and suffering caused by a lack of understanding of what Christ has done and given to us.

When someone embraces faith in Jesus Christ for transformation, the devil will incite persecution to weaken their resolve and make them renounce their faith. However, we should not struggle to attain what Christ has already provided; instead, we should trust in God's provisions through faith. Faith, grounded in God's words, serves as the foundation for receiving the blessings Christ has bestowed upon us. For our prayers and confessions to bear fruit, we must have unwavering faith that what we seek in the physical realm is already ours in the spiritual realm.

Living and interacting based on natural senses and feelings does not align with God's will. Since God is a Spirit, a meaningful relationship with Him requires spiritual connection and faith in His word. Similarly, our interactions with others should be rooted in faith rather than surface-level perceptions, avoiding prejudices based on appearances or behaviours.
