Calling and Clarity

1 Samuel 3:5 says, "And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down."

We should not hastily act on what we think is God's calling without seeking clarity and details from Him. God does not require us to seek validation from others before we pursue His calling. Sometimes, people rush into ministry without fully understanding what God wants, leading to incomplete or misguided messages that can harm rather than bless the church. When we ask God for something or desire His intervention in our lives, He often places the resources or provisions in the custody of certain people for us to access. But it's crucial to be patient and allow God to guide us to the right individuals who hold what He has given to us. This prevents us from seeking help from the wrong sources and facing disappointment in the end.

Every step we take in faith to receive God's blessings should be guided by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it's important not to venture to places where God isn't leading us, as doing so may result in regret.
If we fail to patiently wait for God's full guidance, His glory will not be revealed in our work, no matter how hard we pray or work. Impatience can hinder our ability to deeply connect with God and experience His grace and anointing in our lives and ministries. We should strive to eliminate impatience from our lives if we want to see God's glory manifested in our work.

Merely praying without heeding God's direction is akin to being blessed yet ignorant of how to access those blessings. Even after praying, we should patiently seek God's guidance, aligning ourselves with His will for our lives. Although God is present in our lives, we need divine wisdom to understand how to connect with Him and access the resources He has provided for us. Ignorance in effectively relating with God and receiving His help can make it seem as if His presence is missing in our lives.
