Discovering Christ in all the scriptures
John 6:40: "And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him at the last day."
Seeing the Son is crucial for receiving the power to become a child of God and obtaining everlasting life with the promise of resurrection. It is those who see the Son of God continually in the word of God and believe in Him that will receive everlasting life for their help and welfare always. A continual discovery of the Son through scripture is necessary for our spiritual growth and a fulfilling life in Christ. When reading the Bible or hearing the word of God, it is essential to perceive beyond the words on the page and truly see the Son of God in what is being read or heard. This spiritual discernment is necessary for faith, salvation, and receiving His assistance. We must pray to see beyond the veils that cover our eyes and behold the Son of God, so that we may experience everlasting life in all aspects of our lives. Only by seeing the resurrected Son in His glory can our spirit, soul, and body be infused with the life of God and be transformed by the power of His resurrection.
The everlasting life that God has given us in Christ is satisfying and fulfilling. It brings joy, peace, success, fruitfulness, freedom from demonic attacks, and good health. The eternal life promised to us is a continuous flow of blessings from God, without end. It applies not only to our spiritual being but also to our soul and body. Everlasting life is the experience of heavenly blessings on earth despite the challenges we may face due to our faith in Christ. It's the inheritance of all believers to enjoy during their time on earth and in eternity. Believers in Jesus should experience a life of joy, peace, rest, favour, protection, and success, as everlasting life is not temporary but lifelong. It is God's will for us in Christ Jesus to experience a blissful life in all areas of our lives on earth before we depart from this world. Because Christ sacrificed himself on the cross so that we can have it and enjoy it abundantly.
