Time and chance are highly relevant factors that determine success.

According to Ecclesiastes 9:11, the outcome of a race is not solely determined by the fastest runner or the strongest fighter, but rather by time and chance. God has allotted each person a specific time and opportunity to succeed in their endeavors. Diligence and hard work are essential for standing out and achieving one's goals, but success ultimately depends on the timing and opportunities that God provides.

Preparation and training are important, but it is equally important to heed the call of God and faithfully fulfill the work He has given us to do. When the time and chance come for someone to take a leadership role, God will elevate them above others who are pursuing the same goal. However, being idle and doing nothing will not lead to success or promotion.

Leadership involves inspiring and guiding like-minded people towards a shared vision. A leader cannot lead those who are not willing to follow or who do not share the same vision. A leader needs to identify individuals who desire to do great work and support them in achieving their goals. Those who are content with their current level of success may not require leadership influence.

Ultimately, both the leader and the followers must be willing to work together towards a common goal for success to be achieved. Leadership is not about forcing oneself on others, but rather about inspiring and guiding others towards greatness.
