Loose him and let him go

The scripture passage from John 11:44 describes how Lazarus, after being raised from the dead, had his hands, feet, and face still bound with graveclothes and a napkin. Instructing those around him to "lose him and let him go," Jesus made it clear that Lazarus needed to be freed from the physical constraints that remained in his life despite his resurrection.

This biblical account serves as a powerful reminder of the need for us to also free ourselves from the bondage and control of the devil. Though God has already delivered us from the power of the devil, we still need to actively release ourselves from his clutches through warfare prayers especially when we are not enjoying the freedom that Christ has given to us through His death and resurrection.

By breaking ourselves free from the demonic chains that may be binding us, we can access the full potential and grace that God has placed within us. No one will be able to reach his full potential in life and ministry unless he violently breaks himself loose from the influence of the power of darkness that is limiting him.

We are now living in the dispensation of the Sabbath, where Jesus Christ has given us rest. Everyone has the opportunity now to experience total liberation from the devil's influence. In this season of our Sabbath, we should no longer be burdened by sin, sorrow, delay, setbacks, or limitations imposed by the enemy.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ completed the work of our salvation and deliverance, and our liberation from demonic activities has already been accomplished.  Now it is up to us to actively release ourselves from the influence and activities of the devil so that we can fully experience the freedom, grace, and potential that God has intended for us.
