Faith small as a mustard seed

Luke 17:6 says, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you." The size of our faith doesn't matter, whether it's big or small it has the potency to make an impact. What matters is that we should have faith in our hearts through the word of God, and we must exercise it. We may not know everything about God, but what we do know about Him should produce faith in us and lead us to put it into action.

Knowing God is not just about intellectual knowledge, but it's an experiential touch of the Almighty God in our spirit through the light of His revealed word. Knowing God is about building our faith, confidence, and a personal relationship with Him. There must be a communion between our spirit and the Spirit of God for the light of life inside the scriptures to be revealed to us, and for faith to be formed in our hearts.

Regular communion with God through prayer and meditation in the word of God leads to the formation of the light of God in our hearts which eventually produces faith that does things that look impossible. Faith can be recognized when it is formed in the heart through its ability to ignite the heart towards God. We should have faith in God for all things because all things are possible through faith.

Faith can widen our visions beyond what our physical eyes can see and far above what we think is possible. Faith sees open doors beyond the barriers that physical eyes see. Faith does not consider obstacles nor meditate on difficulties but thinks only of possibilities. If faith is present in our hearts, no mountain can stand before us. Faith can handle any problem and save lives. But faith that is not expressed can do nothing.

When we recognize that faith is not present in our hearts for what we want God to do for us, we shouldn't deceive ourselves and think that without faith we can receive anything from God. But to always go to the scriptures and ask the Spirit of God to reveal the word of God to our hearts and inspire faith in us for the thing we want from God.
