God gives us leaders that we wanted

Ro 13:1: "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God."

All authority either good or bad is from God, and they are placed in their positions of authority by God. But it isn't God that chooses leaders for nations, we only received from God the kind of leaders we wanted and God allowed them to rule over us. It is the corruption that some of our nations allow in their democracy that has allowed inept leaders to govern them, and God wasn't the cause of the bad leadership they have been having. Our inability to always pray for our leaders also contributes to the bad policy they chose for us. Nations will rejoice when the godly are in authority, but they will groan when the wicked rule over them. Bad governance will continue to pervade nations unless the church wakes up from its sleep. The church has been sleeping for many years in some nations and watching the enemies invade their political space and continue to rule over the righteous with their evil policies, while the righteous are only praying. Our participation in the governance of our nations shouldn't be by intercession and voting alone but also to be part of the process by joining a credible political party that has good interests for the people. We can get involved in politics for the sake of bringing righteous governance over our nation and not being political by lifestyle or in the church leadership. Politics is a platform in a democratic system of governance to become a leader of a nation and not by praying alone. We are not joining politics for politicking sake but to govern and bring the kingdom rules of God over our nation. This implies that we should not be passive members of political parties that we join, but be active members by making our voice, money, participation, and influence known. The process to ascend to the political throne of our nations may not be perfect, yet we must be part of it and remain a shining light through the process. If we believe that bringing godly leadership over our nations is part of the inheritance given to us by God, we will arise, take the bull by the horn and decide who rules over us.
