Cultivating an attitude of prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17. Pray without ceasing,


The passage above accentuates the importance of maintaining a consistent prayer attitude and communion with God. Prayer stands as the foundation and door opener for all the things that God wants to accomplish in our lives. Prayer is not just about speaking words but cultivating a disposition and connection with the Lord Jesus Christ. Your commitment to renewing your prayer altar every morning and seeking God's guidance is very important to be able to carry God's presence with you through the day. By staying disciplined, determined, and persistent at your prayer altar, you can strengthen your spirit and face challenges with inner strength. Additionally, it's good to return to God after each day's work and give thanks to Him for His faithfulness throughout the day, and to refuel your spirit.

The Word became Answer RSV, John 1:14: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father." The Word, or Logos, became human as God's response to our need for salvation, addressing all our spiritual needs and the limitations we face as humans. The written word, the scriptures, is also provided by God to meet our needs. However, many struggle to find answers to their challenges in the scriptures due to their lack of understanding of them.
