Being accepted as a leader
AV, 1 Samuel 18:5- "And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants."
The Bible passage above highlighted the importance of divine calling, the personal preparation of a leader for effective leadership, and his acceptance by people. Being recognized as a leader indeed involves more than just being appointed; it requires ongoing self-improvement and aligning ourselves with the purpose of God for our lives. God shapes and prepares His leaders through challenges and difficult experiences. This process helps them become more coordinated with the purpose of God and equipped to lead effectively. The combination of personal growth, discovering and refining one's gifts, and seeking supernatural intervention can indeed contribute to gaining acceptance and positively impacting those we lead.
