Be of good cheer
John 16:33: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
God has sent His words ahead of us in the scriptures to inform us of the victory He has given to us over all that the devil may do against us so that we wouldn't have to be afraid or confused, but to be of good cheer. The words of God prepared our minds for what to expect from the world for being on the side of Christ so that we will develop faith in God and respond always with a faith attitude to every challenge that may come our way. If we are not enlightened to know what God has said about the troubles we are facing, there is the likelihood of responding as a natural man with fear in that situation and we will miss the help that God has prepared for us to save us from our troubles. Jesus has overcome all our fears and troubles and we don't have to be afraid of any of them. Despite the enemies that may be on our way in our adventure of fulfilling our God-given dreams and visions, by faith in the words of God we will progress in our pursuits and reach the summit that God has prepared for us. Everyone who has been born from God has won the victory over the world and our faith in the word of God is what wins the victory over the world. Victory in life belongs to those who have absolute faith in the word of God and who are courageous enough to exercise their faith in God amid their adversities. Faith looks forward ever and never looks backward. If we want to enjoy a life of victory in this part of eternity where God placed us now, we must be primed in the words of God and never give up on believing in Him irrespective of what and who is against us.
