THE WORDS OF GOD WILL NOT GO AWAY UNFULFILLED
Mat 24:35: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but none of the words of God concerning us will pass away unfulfilled. If heaven and earth pass away without any impacts on our lives, none of the words of God will pass away until they make definite impacts in the lives of those that God sent them. The words of God are targeted and sent by God to fulfil purposes or to meet needs. They are not loose words that are without definite missions to accomplish. The words of God are not mere words, they carry divine substance from God to do in our lives and we must believe them with all our hearts. The words of God carry the purposes of salvation, healing, deliverance, and miracles to deliver to us. The words of God that are given or sent to us are heavily pregnant with the blessings of God to be emptied into the lives of whoever believes them. The words of God that we are reading or hearing will not pass away unnoticed within us. It will inspire something definite and significant in our hearts. The word of God is like a flash of light, when it passes through our hearts, its light will leave a picture or an image of something that God wants to do for us or with us in our hearts. It is by the lights of the words of God that pass through our hearts that we will live and walk as believers in the world. The words of God are the lights of specific things that God wants us to do. Unless we are receiving the lights from the scriptures through the help of the Spirit of God we wouldn't be able to walk with God and please Him. The light we received from the words of God is the life that God breathes into our spirit. The light we have from the scriptures is the life of God for us to live by, and this life is what we call faith. Faith is the life or the inspiration we have from the words of God. When we receive light from the reading of the scriptures, we have received life, and life is the assurance that we have in our hearts that God will give the thing we have received as light.
The assurance of life or of something we received from the scriptures lives on within our hearts until it is fulfilled. The life we have from the scriptures is the light of the promises about things that God will do for us or give to us. Those who read the words of God will not do it in vain, but they will have the lights about the promises of what God will do for them. Salvation, miracles, deliverances, healing, and any help from God are based on the lights of the words of God that are made available to us by the Spirit of God. That is the reason why we need illumination through the teaching ministry of the Spirit of God to be able to see the lights of the things that God wants to do in our lives from the scriptures that we are reading. We also need the guidance of leaders who are higher than us in faith to help us discover our real needs from God which we did not think that we need and asked God for. Our real needs many times are not what we are asking from God, but if we devote time to the reading and study of the scriptures, we will discover what we need from God that we need to ask God for. The real need of man from God is not his physical need, but his spiritual need, the need of God in his life. The real need of man is that God will possess or fill his life so that he can live for God and fulfil God's counsel for his life. That is the reason why when you are reading the scriptures, what God does with you majorly is to fill you with the knowledge of His will.
