NO ACCUSATIONS AGAINST YOU AGAIN

Col 2:14: "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;"

Jesus has cancelled the records of the devil's accusations against us when His enemies set their accusations against Him over His head on the cross "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS". Matthew 27:37.

By this event, the righteousness of the innocent Jesus was exchanged for the devil's accusation against us for our past sins which God has forgiven us through the blood of Jesus Christ. The allegation for which we have been condemned to death was put upon the righteous Jesus who was enviously and wrongly accused and condemned to death, and His righteousness was given to us as a gift so that we can be justified and be freed. So the death of Jesus on the cross was for our acquitted from the condemnation to death and it's for our freedom from the bondage of the devil. It is those who have been acquitted of the wrongdoing that can be set free from the bondage of the police called the devil. In this way, Jesus disarmed our accusers, the principalities and powers. He shamed them publicly by His victory and triumph over them on the cross.

Rom 5:1: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"

We have been absolved or advocated for from the wrongdoings of the past by Jesus Christ, and we now have peace with God. Jesus has answered for our forgiveness before God through His death. And God accepted His apology when He raised us together with Christ from the dead. The righteousness of Jesus Christ was the ground by which God accepted His plea for our forgiveness. And God who has delivered us from death by the regeneration of our spirit has also delivered our soul and body, and all that belongs to us from the power of the devil. Therefore the devil has no right again to lay claim to our soul or to anything that belongs to us. Our salvation is total and holistic. The death of Jesus on the cross and His blood He shed for us is for the deliverance of our spirit, soul, and body. It is for our complete redemption, not only for past sins but also from the control of self-life and the power of darkness.
