LET'S BE WATCHFUL FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD
Mat 24:42: "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
We must all be on our spiritual watch continuing praying, fasting, studying the words of God, and saving souls always, for we didn't know the hour that our Lord Jesus Christ was coming. Being always at our spiritual watch will help us to be spiritually sensitive not to be entangled with the things of this world, and to be in right standing with God to be rapture whenever the Lord comes. Standing in our spiritual watch with God helps us to be spiritually prepared and positioned for engagement by the Lord in His work. Prayer and meditation in the words of God make you spiritually positioned for God to reach you and have fellowship with you. That is the reason why God made a garden in Eden for Adam so that Adam will be postponed for God to come and have fellowship with Him. God does not fellowship nor engage a man that is spiritually unprepared for Him. In our prayer and word watchfulness, our spirit man becomes activated and prepared to meet with God, and unless God sees that our spirit man is alive, He wouldn't approach us to fellowship with us. Some believers are readily spiritually alive always, because of their regular prayer and studying of the words of God, so God stands beside them always and communes with them wherever they are. Prayer and fasting remove the covering of the flesh that envelope around our spirit man. God must see that our spirit man is unclothed from the covering of the flesh before He will come around to fellowship with our spirit. The sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit experience takes place when our spirit man is unclad or is opened to God. That is the reason why if we want to hear the voice of God speaking to us in our spirit, our spirit man must be naked before God with nothing upon our heart that we are thinking or ruminating upon before we can hear what God is saying to us. God is a Spirit and we must be aligned with Him in our spirit before we can fellowship with Him and hear His voice. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in the spirit and with the truth of His words. Our spirit and the truth of the words of God are the tools that God wants us to bring to the altar to worship Him. The contents of our communion with God at the altar are the truth of the word of God because God will commune with us through His words. Jesus Christ, the lamb of God has been offered for us, what we need to bring to the altar of God now for a burning offering is the preparation of our spirit and the words of God with us. Our spirit man burns upon the words of God in our prayers. The intensity and effectiveness of our prayer are dependent on the words of God that are available in our spirit.
