GIVES THANKS TO GOD IN EVERYTHING AND FOR EVERYTHING
1Ths 5:18: "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
We must not be selective in our giving of thanks to God but give thanks to Him for everything that He is doing in our lives be it good or bad. We must give thanks to God in whatever situations or conditions that we find ourselves in. We should give thanks to God in everything and for everything for this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus. If anything will not be of good for us God will not command us to do it and if a situation is of no benefit to us He wouldn't take us through it. Everything that God is asking us to do, does for us, or takes us through is all working together for our good, and we should give thanks to God for all of them. If a season of darkness will not be useful for us, God wouldn't have allowed it in our lives. If we want to enjoy the fullness of the grace of God in our lives we must not box God into a situation, because He is the God of all situations. God rules and reigns in all situations. God is the Almighty One in all situations. We must explore the faithfulness and the grace of God in whatever situations we find ourselves in for our good because God is not limited to a condition. The unlimited abilities of God are inexhaustible and we cannot tie God into our assumptions of the capacity of His strength. God is incomparable or surpassing and we mustn't compare the strength of God to our strength. We will limit the hand or the grace of God from working greatly in our lives if we do so. In the same manner, also, we mustn't compare our God-given strength, vision, or ministry with that of another man. If we do that, we will be limiting the capacity of the delivery of our anointing and ministry. You are a follower of the person you are comparing yourself with and you cannot surpass him, because you will always be at his back and never be in his front. The exploits of the man will be your aspirations to accomplish, and you wouldn't be able to see the great things that God is doing which He wants you to be doing. That is the reason why God will not bring some of His emerging leaders under a leader that will becloud, subjugate or limit them from accomplishing the great assignment that He has called them to do.
